White-Draining Origin-Boosting Powder
泻白益元散 〔瀉白益元散〕xiè bái yì yuán sǎn
Source: Zhèng Yīn Mài Zhì 症因脉治
Ingredients:
- Sāng bái pí (桑白皮 Mori Cortex, mulberry bark)
- Dì gǔ pí (地骨皮 Lycii Cortex, lycium bark)
- Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root])
Action:
Indication: Summerheat damage cough with generalized pain, and thirst, but with aversion to cold.

Method: Decoct with water and mix in Origin-Boosting Powder (yì yuán sǎn).
