Wind-Dispersing Blood-Nourishing Decoction
消风养血汤 〔消風養血湯〕 xiāo fēng yǎng xuè tāng

Ingredients
- Jú huā (菊花 Chrysanthemi Flos, chrysanthemum [flower])
- Jīng jiè (荆芥 Schizonepetae Herba, schizonepeta)
- Màn jīng zǐ (蔓荆子 Viticis Fructus, vitex [fruit])
- Jué míng zǐ (决明子 Cassiae Semen, fetid cassia [seed])
- Bái zhǐ (白芷 Angelicae Dahuricae Radix, Dahurian angelica)
- Má huáng (麻黄 Ephedrae Herba, ephedra)
- Táo rén (桃仁 Persicae Semen, peach kernel)
- Fáng fēng (防风 Saposhnikoviae Radix, saposhnikovia)
- Hóng huā (红花 Carthami Flos, carthamus [flower])
- Chuān xiōng (川芎 Chuanxiong Rhizoma, chuanxiong [rhizome])
- Dāng guī (当归 Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Chinese angelica)
- Xiān máo (仙茅 Curculiginis Rhizoma, curculigo [root])
- Shí jué míng (石决明 Haliotidis Concha, abalone shell)
- Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root])
Actions: Disperses wind and heat; nourishes the blood, dispels stasis and relieves pain.
Indications: Painful swelling and reddening of the eyes due to wind-heat.
