Costusroot and Coptis Pig's Stomach Pill
香连猪肚丸 〔香連豬肚丸〕xiāng lián zhū dǔ wán

Ingredients:
- Mù xiāng (木香 Aucklandiae Radix, costusroot) 15g
- Huáng lián (黄连 Coptidis Rhizoma, coptis [root]) 30g
- Shēng dì huáng (生地黄 Rehmanniae Radix Exsiccata seu Recens, dried/fresh rehmannia [root]) 30g
- Qīng pí (青皮 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride, unripe tangerine peel) 30g
- Yín chái hú (银柴胡 Stellariae Radix, stellaria) 30g
- Biē jiǎ (鳖甲 Trionycis Carapax, turtle shell) 30g

Method: Grind to a powder, stuff into a pig's stomach, boil in an earthenware pot until the stomach is soft, remove from the pot, pound, and form into pills the size of firmiana seeds (wú tóng zǐ).
Dosage: 30 pills at a time, taken with rice.
