Source: Zhèng Zhì Zhǔn Shéng 证治隼绳‧类方

Ingredients

• 生麻 3 gr 升麻is last ingredient CHECKHuáng qí (黄芪 Astragali Radix, astragalus [root]) 3g
• Dīng xiāng (丁香 Caryophylli Flos, clove) 3g
• Gé gēn (葛根 Puerariae Radix, pueraria [root]) 3g
• Qiāng huó (羌活 Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix, notopterygium [root]) 3g
• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) (mix-fried) 3g
• Fáng fēng (防风 Saposhnikoviae Radix, saposhnikovia) 3g
• Má huáng (麻黄 Ephedrae Herba, ephedra) 12g.
• Shēng má (升麻 Cimicifugae Rhizoma, cimicifuga [root])

Indications: Nasal congestion with copious eye discharge and tears.

Method: Grind to a rough powder.

Dosage: 2g at a time decocted in water with two scallions whites.
