Ingredients

• Dāng guī (当归 Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Chinese angelica) 12g
• Chì sháo (赤芍 Paeoniae Radix Rubra, red peony [root]) 9g
• Chuān xiōng (川芎 Chuanxiong Rhizoma, chuanxiong [rhizome]) 3g
• Gān jiāng (干姜 Zingiberis Rhizoma, dried ginger) (blast-fried) 3g

Indications: Postpartum abdominal pain due to blood vacuity or blood stasis.

Notes: This is Sì wù tāng (四物汤 Four Agents Decoction) minus Shú dì huáng and plus Pào jiāng.
