Costusroot Qì-Regulating Powder
木香调气散 〔木香調氣散〕 mù xiāng tiáo qì san

Alternate Chinese names: Mù xiāng yún qì san (木香匀气散 Costusroot Qì-Evening Powder)
Ingredients
- Bái dòu kòu (白豆蔻 Amomi Fructus Rotundus, cardamom) 60g
- Dīng xiāng (丁香 Caryophylli Flos, clove) 2400g
- Tán xiāng (檀香 Santali Albi Lignum, sandalwood) 240g
- Mù xiāng (木香 Aucklandiae Radix, costusroot) 240g
- Huò xiāng (藿香 Pogostemonis Herba, patchouli) 240g
- Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) (mix-fried) 24g
- Shā rén (砂仁 Amomi Fructus, amomum [fruit]) 120g
Indications: Disease caused by seven-affect internal damage and qì counterflow with clouding blockage by phlegm and clenched jaw as in wind stroke, but cold body, and sunken pulse.
Method: Grind to a powder.
Dosage: 6g at a time with boiled with a little salt.
