• Jīng jiè (荆芥 Schizonepetae Herba, schizonepeta)
• Bàn xià (半夏 Pinelliae Rhizoma, pinellia [rhizome])
• Chén pí (陈皮 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, tangerine peel)
• Chán yī (蝉衣 Cicadae Periostracum, cicada molting)
• Chì sháo (赤芍 Paeoniae Radix Rubra, red peony [root])
• Dān pí (丹皮 Moutan Cortex, moutan [bark])
• Dān shēn (丹参 Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix, salvia [root])
• Dì lóng (地龙 Pheretima , earthworm)
• Dāng guī (当归 Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Chinese angelica)
• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root])

Action:

Indication: Facial pain due to wind due to wind-heat with phlegm obstructing the network vessels. Such pain us usually a period burning or stabbing pain. Sometimes there is a trigger point at the side of the nose or mouth. It usually affects the middle or lower part of the face.
