When yīn prevails, there is cold

阴胜则寒 〔陰勝則寒〕 yīn shèng zé hán

Also when yīn is exuberant, there is cold. From Plain Questions (素问 sù wèn, yīn yáng yìng xìng dà lùn). When yīn qì prevails, yáng qì is debilitated; hence cold signs appear. See when yīn is exuberant, there is internal cold.
