阳络伤则血外溢 〔陽絡傷則血外溢〕 yáng luò shāng zé xuè wài yì

When the yáng network vessels (i.e., those of the upper or outer body) are damaged, there is bleeding. This refers to expectoration of blood, nosebleed, or bleeding gums due to damage to the network vessels by exuberant lung-stomach heat.
