Torpid intake
纳呆 〔納呆〕 nà dāi
Also torpid stomach. Impairment of the stomach’s governing of intake (see stomach governs intake). Torpid intake is attributable to spleen-stomach vacuity or to damp-heat obstruction and is characterized by indigestion and poor appetite, and in some cases by a sensation of bloating. See poor appetite.
Etymology
Chinese: 纳 nà, receive; 呆 dāi, dull, torpid, feebleminded.
