Supplementing both qì and blood

气血双补 〔氣血雙補〕 qì xuè shuāng bǔ

A method of treatment used to address dual vacuity of qì and the blood characterized by somber-white facial complexion, dizziness, heart palpitation, shortness of breath, lack of strength, a soft-red pale tongue, and a weak fine pulse.

Medicinal therapy: A formula that supplements both qì and the blood is Eight-Gem Decoction (八珍汤 bā zhēn tāng).
