皮痹 〔皮痹〕pí bì

Also cold impediment. An impediment () pattern described in Zhang’s Clear View of Medicine (张氏医通 zhāng shì yī tōng) in the following ways: Skin impediment is cold impediment. The evil is in the skin and body hair, causing dormant papules and wind sores that are not made sore by scratching, and in the initial stages, produces a sensation of bugs creeping in the skin.

Medicinal therapy: Course wind and nourish the blood using Large Gentian and Rehmannia Decoction (秦艽地黄汤 qín jiāo dì huáng tāng).
