Putrid belching
嗳气腐臭 〔噯氣腐臭〕ài qì fǔ chòu
Also belching of putrid qì. Belching with the expulsion of putrid sour-smelling qì (gas). Putrid belching is usually attributed to spleen-stomach vacuity or nontransformation of grain and water due to dietary irregularities causing food to accumulate in the stomach and intestines. It is a principal sign of food damage.
Acumoxatherapy: GB-40 (Hill Ruins, 丘墟 qiū xū) and GB-34 (Yáng Mound Spring, 阳陵泉 yáng líng quán) are commonly used points.
