Bound pulse

结脉 〔結脈〕 jié mài

Also slow irregularly interrupted pulse. A pulse that is moderate or slow and pauses at irregular intervals. The Pulse Classic (脉经 mài jīng) states that it indicates exuberant yīn and bound qì, congested qì and stagnant phlegm, or concretions, conglomerations, accumulations, and gatherings.
