Menstrual bloody stool

经行便血 〔經行便血〕jīng xíng biàn xuè

Also deviated menstruation; crossed menstruation. Bloody stool during menstruation. Menstrual bloody stool attributed to predilection for hot spicy foods or long-depressed accumulated heat harassing the thoroughfare (chōng) and controlling (rèn) vessels, causing frenetic movement of the blood.

Medicinal therapy: Clear heat and resolve toxin and regulate qì and blood with polyporus (Polyporus, 猪苓 zhū líng), alisma (Alismatis Rhizoma, 泽泻 zé xiè), white atractylodes (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, 白朮 bái zhú), red peony (Paeoniae Radix Rubra, 赤芍药 chì sháo yào), ass hide glue (Asini Corii Colla, 阿胶 ē jiāo), Chinese angelica (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, 当归 dāng guī), and chuanxiong (Chuanxiong Rhizoma, 川芎 chuān xiōng).

Acumoxatherapy: Base treatment mainly on LR, back transport points, BL, SP, and ST. Select LR-3 (Supreme Surge, 太冲 tài chōng), LI-11 (Pool at the Bend, 曲池 qū chí), BL-20 (Spleen Transport, 脾俞 pí shù), BL-25 (Large Intestine Transport, 大肠俞 dà cháng shù), GV-1 (Long Strong, 长强 cháng qiáng), ST-39 (Lower Great Hollow, 下巨虚 xià jù xū), BL-57 (Mountain Support, 承山 chéng shān), and SP-6 (Three Yīn Intersection, 三阴交 sān yīn jiāo); needle with drainage.
