Lung is the delicate viscus

肺为娇脏 〔肺為嬌臟〕fèi wéi jiāo zàng

Of all the viscera, the lung, which draws in great qì (air) from outside the body, is most susceptible to six excesses, particularly wind, cold, and heat. Contractions of these evils readily cause nondiffusion of lung qì, which can manifest as cough and nasal congestion.
