Lung assembles the hundred vessels

肺朝百脉 〔肺朝百脈〕fèi cháo bǎi mài

Plain Questions (素问 sù wèn) states, Vessel qì flows into the channel, and channel qì returns to the lung; the lung assembles the hundred vessels. This means that the blood of the whole body must pass through the lung channel and the lung proper.
