Internally exuberant yīn cold
阴寒内盛 〔陰寒內盛〕 yīn hán nèi shèng
Severe internal cold. It arises when insufficiency of yáng qì is severe and is characterized by more severe cold signs, such as pronounced clear-grain diarrhea and abdominal pain. In addition, other yīn evils―water-rheum and internal dampness―become more pronounced and more closely associated with cold. Such conditions are considered to be vacuity complicated by repletion.
