Chronic paranasal sinusitis can be treated by insufflating powdered calcined yellow croaker’s otolith (Pseudosciaenae Otolithum, 鱼脑石yú nǎo shí) into the nose. Common cold with nasal congestion can be treated by insufflating powdered centipeda (Centipedae Herba, 鹅不食草é bù shí cǎo) into the nose. See nasal insufflation.
