Insensitive impediment
顽痹 〔頑痹〕wán bì
A condition of numbness of the skin and flesh with inability to sense pain or itching, and sometimes aching pain in the extremities.
Etymology
Chinese: 顽 wán, stubborn, usually implies persistence, but in this terms implies insensitivity, hence the English translation insensitive impediment.
