Hypertonicity

拘急 〔拘急〕 jū jí

拘挛〔拘攣〕jū luán

Stiffness and tension in the limbs inhibiting normal bending and stretching. Hypertonicity is usually attributable to wind, and occurs, for example, in impediment (bì). See tension of the sinews.
