Heavy formula

One of the ten formula types; a formula comprising medicinals that are heavy in weight. Heavy [medicinals] can eliminate timidity, i.e., they are effective for various conditions involving susceptibility to fear and fright. An example of a heavy formula is Loadstone and Cinnabar Pill (磁朱丸 cí zhū wán), which contains loadstone (Magnetitum, 磁石 cí shí), cinnabar (Cinnabaris, 朱砂 zhū shā), and medicated leaven (Massa Medicata Fermentata, 神曲 shén qū).
