Heat entering the blood aspect
热入血分 〔熱入血分〕 rè rù xuè fèn
Heat evil invading the blood aspect in warm heat disease. Heat entering the blood aspect easily causes wear on the blood and causes it to move frenetically. Signs include heat effusion becoming more pronounced at night, clouded spirit, agitation, or convulsions, patches and macules, bleeding, and a deep crimson tongue. Entry into the blood poses the danger of wear on the blood and stirring of the blood. It calls for cooling and dispersing blood.
