Banking up earth to engender metal
培土生金 〔培土生金〕péi tǔ shēng jīn
A method of treatment that involves fortifying the spleen to treat diseases of the lung. Banking up earth and engendering metal is used, for example, in the treatment of phlegm that arises when water-damp gathers and concentrates as a result of impaired splenic movement and transformation.
