Epidemic clove sore

疫疔 〔疫疔〕yì dīng

Also fish belly-ridge sore. A sore that begins with a small papule and rapidly develops into a blister surrounded by blackening of the flesh (necrosis), pitting, and forming a black crust, associated with generalized heat effusion with aversion to cold.
