Dryness-heat
燥热 〔燥熱〕zào rè
Also dryness-fire. A condition that arises when externally contracted dryness qì (cool dryness) damages the fluids and transforms into heat or fire. Dryness-heat is characterized by swelling of the gums, tinnitus, cough, expectoration of blood, or nosebleed. See dryness.
