Dry teeth

齿燥 〔齒燥〕chǐ zào

Dry-looking, lusterless teeth, especially the two front teeth. If the teeth are grimy and there is bad breath, this sign is ascribed to exuberant stomach fire and major damage to fluids. In enduring sickness, front teeth that are dry as old bones are a sign of critical damage to kidney yīn.
