Dry teeth
齿燥 〔齒燥〕chǐ zào
Dry-looking, lusterless teeth, especially the two front teeth. If the teeth are grimy and there is bad breath, this sign is ascribed to exuberant stomach fire and major damage to fluids. In enduring sickness, front teeth that are dry as old bones
are a sign of critical damage to kidney yīn.
