Dry stool in the stomach

胃中燥矢 〔胃中燥矢〕 wèi zhōng zào shǐ

Dry stool in the intestines caused by internal binding of repletion heat and scorching of the fluids by evil heat. On Cold Damage (伤寒论 shāng hán lùn) says, In yáng brightness (yáng míng) disease with delirious speech, tidal heat, and inability to eat, there must be five or six pellets of dry stool in the stomach. The stomach here refers to the intestines. Dry stool in the stomach refers repletion heat binding in the intestines with heat scorching the fluids.
