A condition in which the hair lacks moisture and sheen; attributed to kidney vacuity and blood heat with yīn-blood failing to nourish the hair.

Medicinal therapy: Treat by enriching yīn and nourishing, assisted by clearing heat. Variants of Four Agents Decoction (四物汤 sì wù tāng) combined with Six-Ingredient Rehmannia Pill (六味地黄丸 liù wèi dì huáng wán) may be used.
