Disinhibiting dampness by bland percolation

淡渗利湿 〔淡滲利濕〕dàn shèn lì shī

A method of treatment that makes use of sweet and bland dampness-percolating medicines to facilitate the eliminating of damp evil through the urine. Disinhibiting dampness by bland percolation is used to treat patterns characterized by clear thin diarrhea, inhibited urination, white tongue fur, and a soggy pulse. Bland percolating dampness-disinhibiting medicinals include poria (Poria, 茯苓 fú líng), polyporus (Polyporus, 猪苓 zhū líng), alisma (Alismatis Rhizoma, 泽泻 zé xiè), and coix (Coicis Semen, 薏苡仁 yì yǐ rén).
