Actions and indications: Clears heat, disinhibits dampness, cools the blood, and resolves toxin. Treats coughing of blood due to vacuity taxation; damp or heat jaundice; water swelling; toxin swelling of welling- and flat-abscesses (yōng jū); scrofula.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (9–15g). Topical: Apply crushed.
