Actions and indications: Supplements the center and moderates the liver; quickens the blood and disperses stasis. Treats retention of lochia; dry mouth; retching; marked emaciation; blood dysentery.

Dosage and method: Oral: Dissolve in boiled water, wine, or decoctions (9–15g).

Warnings: Not suitable for patients suffering from phlegm-damp.
