Use: Medicinal

Properties: Sweet; warm; nontoxic.

Actions and indications: Settles retching; moves qì and relieves pain. Treats stomach cold; bladder mounting qì (shàn qì); distension and pain in the anterior chest.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (6–12g).

Warnings: Use with care in internal yīn vacuity heat.
