Use: Medicinal

Properties: Acrid; warm.

Actions and indications: Dispels wind; disperses cold; quickens the blood; relieves pain. Treats headache and common cold; cough; vomiting and diarrhea; wind-damp joint pain; injury from knocks and falls; toothache.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (15–30g) or steep in wind. Topical: Apply crushed or grind and sprinkle on the affected area.
