Properties: Sour and astringent^✽; balanced or slightly w^✽; nontoxic.^✽

Actions and indications: Treats dysentery; descent of blood; hemorrhoids; prolapse of the rectum; wind and damp impediment (shī bì) pain; vaginal discharge; damp toxin sores; injury from knocks and falls.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (30–60g fresh). Topical: Decoct as a wash, apply crushed, or grind and apply mixed.
