Actions and indications: Clears heat and resolves toxin; disinhibits dampness and fortifies the stomach. The root disinhibits urine; the leaves relieve cough.* Treats heat diarrhea; red dysentery; painful urination; malarial disease; common cold; heat effusion; sore throat; toxin swelling of sores.*

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (9–15g). Topical: Apply crushed.
