Use: Medicinal

Properties: Astringent and slightly bitter; balanced.

Actions and indications: Dispels wind and disinhibits dampness; resolves sore-toxin. Treats wind-damp sinew and bone pain; strangury-turbidity (lìn zhuó); syphilis; shank sores; skin allergies; eczema.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (9–15g). Topical: Decoct as a wash.
