Use: Medicinal

Properties: Slightly bitter; warm.

Actions and indications: Dispels wind and eliminates dampness; quickens the blood and relieves pain. Treats wind-damp impediment (fēng shī bì) pain; stomach pain; injury from knocks and falls and bone fractures; bleeding from external injury.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (9–15g). Topical: Apply crushed.
