Use: Medicinal

Properties: Sweet and acrid; warm.

Channel entry: Heart, liver, and stomach channels.

Actions and indications: Quickens the blood and frees the channels; dispels wind dampness. Treats wind-damp impediment (fēng shī bì) pain; amenorrhea; vomiting of blood (blood ejection); injury from knocks and falls.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (15–30g), grind to a powder, or steep in wine.
