Use: Medicinal
Properties: Bitter; slightly cold.
Actions and indications: Clears heat and resolves toxin; disperses stasis and stanches bleeding. Treats bone tuberculosis; stomatitis; scrofula; injury from knocks and falls; bleeding from external injury.
Dosage and method: Oral: (9–15g) or steep in wine. Topical: Apply crushed, grind to a powder and sprinkle on, or steep in wine.
