Actions and indications: Courses the liver, harmonizes the stomach, rectifies qì, and relieves pain. Treats distension and fullness in the chest and abdomen; stomach pain; mounting qì (shàn qì); swollen testicles; tuberculosis of breast; prolapse of uterus; injury from knocks and falls.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (4.5–9g) or calcine preserving nature and grind to a powder. Topical: Decoct as a wash or boil to paste.
