Use: Medicinal

Properties: Bitter and salty; slightly warm.

Actions and indications: Rectifies the lung and relieves cough; transforms phlegm and calms panting; loosens the chest. Treats cough with copious phlegm; cough; belching; distension and oppression in the chest and abdomen.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (3–9g).
