Properties: Bitter and astringent; slightly cold; nontoxic.

Actions and indications: Moves and quickens the blood, and relieves pain. Treats toothache; jaundice; mammary welling-abscesses (rǔ yōng).

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (15–60g).
