Actions and indications: Resolves the exterior, rectifies qì, and transforms dampness. Treats wind damage common cold with heat effusion; vomiting and retching; distension and fullness in the chest and diaphragm; diarrhea; jaundice; child gān accumulation.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (9–15g). Topical: Decoct as a wash.

Notes: This item is often used as virgate wormwood (茵陈 yīn chén).**
