Actions and indications: Clears heat and resolves toxin; rectifies qì and relieves pain. Treats hot painful throat; indigestion; menstrual irregularities; injury from knocks and falls; wind-damp lumbar and thigh pain.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (9–15g) or brew as tea. Topical: Apply crushed.
