Use: Medicinal

Properties: Bitter and acrid; cool; slightly toxic.

Actions and indications: Breaks stasis and frees the stool. Treats bound stool due to injury from knocks and falls and bone fractures.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (4.5–6g).

Warnings: Contraindicated in the absence of static blood.
