Use: Medicinal

Properties: Bland; balanced; toxic.

Actions and indications: Expels worms, and frees the bowels.* Treats tapeworm. Can also be used to cleanse sores and wounds. Decoct as a wash for swelling of the foot or wind-damp (rheumatism).

Dosage and method: Oral: Grind a powder (3–6g). Topical: Decoct as a wash.
