Properties: Sweet*; warm*; nontoxic*.

Indications:

Stanches bleeding and relieves pain.

vomiting of blood (blood ejection); nosebleed (nǜ xuè); knife wounds.

Dosage & Method: Oral: Decoct (9–15g). Topical: Apply to the affected area; stuff up the nose.

Quality: Dry white inflorescences are the best.

Product Area: Héběi, Jiāngxī.
