Use: Medicinal

Properties: Sour and bitter; warm; nontoxic.

Actions and indications: Moves qì and disperses binds. Treats stomach pain; vomiting of food; scrofula; mounting qì (shàn qì); postpartum abdominal pain; prolapse of the uterus.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (3–9g dried, 15–30g fresh).
