Use: Medicinal

Properties: Acrid and bitter; slightly cold; nontoxic.

Channel entry: Liver, spleen, and lung channels.

Actions and indications: Courses liver qì, opens stomach qì, and disperses lung qì.* Treats dysphagia-occlusion (yē gé); scrofula.*

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (3–9g).
